What I Liked: An easy read with some suspense, this is a well-written book that I believe this would apeal to the teen set. I appreciated the Christian values presented, and the characters were definitely not flawless, but real.
While the third book in the series, it does stand alone pretty well. I have not read the other books, and there was just enough reference to them that I would LIKE to read them, but was still able to follow the story just fine.
Another thing I appreciated was the subject matter of kidnapping. As the mom to a daughter, I know this is something I worry about from time to time, and the way the main character handled herself during the kidnapping is something I think would be of value for teen girls to read.
What I Didn't Like: I've got to admit I have a hard time personally relating to the lives of the rich and famous! Though I do enjoy a glimpse into their lives... so no complaints on this book!
