In October 2007 Kregel Publications published The Other Daughter with excellent reviews. The Romantic Times Review magazine gave it Four out of Four and a half stars, with a very strong review. My Review

Living in an Oregon logging community myself, I've gotta love a book in the Bridal Veil setting! While this takes place in a historic setting, it makes me think what life was like here in Douglas County way back in the early 1900s... And there's a little historical excerpt at the end, for those into history.

Filled with interesting characters (mostly likeable), suspense, and a sweet surprise towards the end, this book in the series is more than a romance. It's a book about community, forgiveness, change, and families being united. And let's just say that what I thought would happen in the beginning isn't what ended up happening!
